Cat Reman products are an important product offering to help our customers achieve the lowest Total Cost of Ownership (TCO). Cat Reman is looking for a disciplined, organized, and talented individual to work in partnership with divisional leadership to lead a global team to develop, implement, and manage processes as it relates to the enterprise Component Repair, Rebuild and Reman strategy’s Dealer Alignment Program. This leadership role will also serve as a divisional expert and consultant for managing the execution of Growth with Reman Workshops in support of the Cat Reman Services growth strategy.

This individual will work closely with the Regional Reman Market Consultants on all things related to Growth with Reman including: maintaining and improving core workshop content, managing workshop schedule, ensuring workshop checklist is being adhered to, participate in dealer workshops, capture key insights and action items from workshops, formalize workshop action plan, conduct monthly follow up meetings with dealers, and provide input into Reman Growth Governance Process. This individual will provide formal leadership and mentoring to other consultants focused on execution of Growth with Reman.

Job Responsibilities to include but are not limited to:

This Product Support Manager plays a critical role in helping achieve our Services growth goals while helping customers achieve the lowest possible Total Cost of Operating (TCO). The incumbent must demonstrate leadership, creativity, foresight, project management excellence, business judgement, and Caterpillar product support or marketing/distribution knowledge as well as sensitivity to customer financial impact.

Specific areas of responsibility include:

  • Development and deployment of the Alignment Program for the Component Repair, Rebuild, and Reman enterprise strategy

  • Maintaining, tracking, and coordination of alignment program dealer insights

  • Maintaining and Improving Growth with Reman Workshop Content

  • Managing execution of Growth with Reman Workshop Process including Prework, Workshop, and Governance in partnership with Regional Reman Consultants

  • Capturing Key Insights and Action Items from Dealer Workshops

  • Provide executive leadership and key stakeholders with routine feedback, updates, and communications on progress of managed programs

  • Maintaining and Improving process for tracking progress on Action Plans

  • Translating Action Plan Progress into Governance updates

  • Translating Key Insights summary for Reman Commercial Team Cascade to Reman Product Teams

  • Identifying, championing, and executing process improvements related to Content, Workshop itself, and governance

  • Training, mentoring, and coaching to Reman Market Consultants focused on Growth with Reman and the Dealer Alignment Program

Must have ability to work with people from many different backgrounds and cultures, internally and externally, with the appropriate influence and ability to resolve differences. Good human relations skills are required to develop a collaborative/cooperative work relationship with others inside and outside the business unit. Generally, requires extensive travel to understand regional business conditions.

Basic Requirements :

  • Fluent with English language

  • Bachelor Degree In addition, nine to twelve years of progressively responsible job-related experience

  • Excellent interpersonal skills are required in order to deal with sensitive issues, develop others, or persuade others inside and outside the department to take specific actions.

Desired qualifications:

  • Language: Spanish and/or Portuguese

  • Experience working with Caterpillar dealers

  • Project Management Experience

  • Knowledge of Cat Reman business model and offerings

  • Experience in positions requiring work across Caterpillar matrix

  • Advanced O365 Skills (Planner, Sharepoint, Power Automate, PowerBi)


  • Travel can be up to 50% (international and/or domestic)

  • Preferred Location: Peoria, IL

  • Relocation assistance offered only for candidate to be located in Peoria

  • Remote Work elsewhere in the US/Globally considered for right candidate. Remote Candidate will increase travel requirement. There is no relocation assistance for remote work.
