The Role

The Integrated Marketing Program Manager is a member of the North America Public Sector marketing team and will assist in supporting the execution of go-to-market initiatives and campaigns for the State & Local government and Education segments. This role will work closely with the public sector segment strategy manager to implement campaign strategies and SLED field marketing managers to deliver on planned tactics.

The Main Responsibilities

  • Collaborate within the team with segment strategy and field marketing to develop demand generation strategies targeting key customer segments in alignment with sales feedback, new product releases, and market trends.

  • Designs and executes programmatic lead nurturing programs and demand generation campaigns that promote the company's products and solutions, align to the buyer’s journey, and generate high quality sales opportunities to target segments.

  • Develops marketing messaging and materials for campaigns that are consistent with the company and brand positioning and aligned to target personas and segments.

  • Interface with field marketing team regularly to ensure sales engagement with tools, initiatives, and best practices are adopted and leads are followed up on.

  • Partners with external teams such as offer management, strategic alliances, and corporate communications to develop sales plays, solution offers, and communications specific to the segment.

  • Provides direction to internal and external agencies on the creation of marketing assets (email, social media, sales enablement tools, etc.) and premium content (infographics, webinars, videos, white papers, etc.) for use in demand generation campaigns. Manages third parties who enable program(s), negotiates business terms and conditions of contracts, and manages associated campaign budget.

  • Employs a disciplined approach to lead management and program performance, aligning lead management process to campaign strategies and partnering with sellers to enable effective disposition and nurturing of leads.

  • Partners with data & analytics and corporate marketing operations teams to measure /analyze campaign performance and to optimize programs as needed on an ongoing basis.

  • Develops ideas and recommendations toward campaign process, system, and reporting improvements and incorporates them into existing and future programs.

  • Have an understanding of the federal and/or state and local government market.

What We Look For in a Candidate

  • Bachelor’s degree required.

  • 7-10 years relevant experience

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to create, edit and proof internal and external content and communications.

  • Strong foundation in account based marketing concepts and tools including segmentation, buyer personas, buyer’s journeys, lead nurturing, and content marketing.

  • Detail-oriented and highly organized individual with the ability to multi-task and prioritize.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, highly motivated, autonomous, and proactive.

  • Knowledge of IT and/or telco marketplace desired.

  • Strong understanding of product portfolio, key segments, target customers, customer challenges, buyer profiles, and buying criteria.

  • Creative and innovative thinker, who also possesses strong analytical skills and exceptional attention to detail.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

  • Self-starter, who can take initiative and work independently and proactively to resolve issues, take ownership for tools and process, and also thrive in a highly collaborative environment

This position is eligible for either short-term incentives or sales compensation. Director and VP positions also are eligible for long-term incentive.
