Job Description Purpose: Provides leaders and employees with information about the functions and requirements needed to perform the job. This must be read in conjunction with the Performance Review. Job Purpose: Describes why the position exists in the company. Gives the overall end result. Greets and assists callers and visitors of EFCO. Under general supervision, performs administrative support and filing functions to the Human Resources department. Performs data entry into various computer systems. Within established guidelines, make independent decisions about planning, organization, and scheduling of own work. Resolves routine questions and problems, and refers more complex issues to management.

Essential Functions: Lists major actions performed in the job. Describes what occurs and the reason the action is taken. Provides impact of each action by indicating percentage of time spent performing the functions.

Function - % of Time Spent 1. Answers and directs calls on the company switchboard. Greets and assists guests customers in EFCO Center. Sorts and prepares mail and routes packages. Updates company phone directory, orders supplies. Maintains cleanliness of front area. - 40% 2. Performs data entry into various software programs of information, enters and closes work orders, and prepares administrative support to Human Resources. - 30% 3. Responsible for filing and maintenance of Human Resources documents and files. - 20% 4. Performs other job-related duties and special projects as required. - 10%

Requirements: Describes the minimum education and experience, certifications, licenses, physical demands, working conditions and skill sets needed to perform the job.

High school diploma or equivalent plus minimum of 2 years in Human Resource field or administrative support position. Knowledge of company policy/procedures and benefit packages helpful. Experience in Excel and WORD are required. Must have strong organization and communication skills. Must work effectively under pressure, exercise good judgment, and maintain confidentiality. No travel required.
