This team requests EST hours and we prefer candidates able to work hybrid from our Dearborn, MI office.

• Lead Road Noise attribute development, analyses, assessments and issue resolution using both analytical tools and vehicle testing

• Interface with Design, Vehicle Dynamics, and other attributes to develop cross-attribute solutions

• Independently run vehicle tests, including data acquisition and analysis as well as subjective evaluations

• Develop presentations/reports summarizing results; lead discussions

• Participate in Road Noise core projects (method/metric/target development, process improvements, etc.)

• Work will primarily be done on-site (i.e. not remote), collaborating with team members, working on parts and vehicles in the test garage and labs.

You'll have…

• BS in engineering

• 2-3 years Product Development experience preferred

• Positive attitude with a willingness to learn required

• Knowledge or experience with acoustics and vibrations a plus

• Ability to work both independently and in teams, as necessary

• Excellent communication and presentation skills

• Please include analytical skills (e.g. statistical, FEA, Matlab, LMS, other programming) in your resume and application

Even better, you may have...

• Post-graduate degree in Engineering, Acoustics or Physics

• Experience using NVH data acquisition systems

• Knowledge of automotive vehicle design (especially suspension, tires and/or body structures)

• Experience with Python, Matlab, and or other programing tools

This position is a range of salary grades 6-8 .
