Experienced Commercial Carpenter

Des Moines, Iowa

$25 - $35 hr. (weekly pay)

Job Summary: Seeking skilled and experienced Commercial Carpenters to join our team and to get started ASAP on a project in Des Moines, Iowa. The successful candidate will be responsible for constructing, repairing, and installing structures and fixtures for commercial clients, while ensuring quality, safety, and timeliness.

Responsibilities:

• Construct, repair, and install structures and fixtures such as cabinets, shelves, partitions, metal studs, and trim work according to blueprints, plans, and specifications.

• Measure, cut, and assemble materials using hand and power tools.

• Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, and other team members - collaborate with other tradespeople.

Work Environment:

• Working at Commercial construction sites / Monday - Friday / 7am - 4pm / OT Available

• May be required to work at heights, in confined spaces, or in a fast-paced environment

• Must be able to work in a team environment and collaborate with other tradespeople

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a commercial carpenter (more experience = higher starting wage)

• Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, tools, and materials

• Ability to read blueprints, plans, and specifications

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
