Senior Director, Strategic Sourcing and Cloud Financial Operations
Reporting directly to the CIO, the Senior Director, Strategic Sourcing and Cloud FinOps is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing leading edge sourcing, FinOps and procurement practices driving value across Acxiom. The successful candidate will create effective partnerships with business partners and oversight over Technology Sourcing, Cloud FinOps, Supplier Inclusion and Vendor Management. The Sr. Director must successfully balance excellent partner service, understanding their needs (both expressed and implied) while ensuring that Acxiom pursues technologies, services, spend and contracts meeting our overall business objectives.
Cloud Financial Operations
Develops capabilities to understand cloud usage and cost, benchmarks/optimizes rates and usage while aligning Acxiom to ensure cloud financial operations excellence
Centrally governs and controls cloud spend and agreements including committed use discounts, volume/custom discounts
Aligns the overall cloud financial cycle across plan, forecast, cost estimation to feed pricing decisions and spend per product, client, and company
Drives accountability and builds transparency, ensuring efficiency and cost control
Optimizes Sourcing processes, drives automation and tooling to streamline successful business decisions
Drives deal strategy and negotiation for sourcing agreements in partnership with Business Units and Corporate Legal
Supports Third-Party Risk team with supplier mitigation findings and plans
Manages all external software audit related findings
Accountable for all sourcing spend related to Acxiom’s technology, globally
Oversees the development and enhancement of the Supplier Diversity program, expansion into channels and interacting with diverse business owners
Drives increased engagement among Global Sourcing colleagues with diverse/responsible suppliers through meetings, presentations, and the understanding of the sourcing landscape
Partners with cross functional teams such as Inclusion & Diversity and Human Resources, at all levels, to implement and advance both the supplier diversity and sustainability initiatives
Shares best practices and benchmarking of leading responsible sourcing programs and developing recommendations for continued performance improvement including training and policy enhancements
Orchestrates supplier/vendor management strategy and operations - regular cadence of executive reviews that include strategic suppliers that are critical to enabling the company’s revenue and cost goals
Aligns all commercial advisory and risk management functions that drive operating efficiency to include: Strategic Sourcing, Third Party Governance, Procure to Pay and Infrastructure & Transformation
Ability to quickly build and cultivate strategic partnerships with cross-functional leaders and external partners
Ability to think strategically and rapidly shift perspective from project-level to company-wide views, prioritizing Acxiom's company goals and objectives
Ability to develop and execute competitive negotiating strategies, producing financial outcomes
Extensive leadership experience in cloud financial operations and technology sourcing
Proven ability in managing high-level complex supplier contracts and partnerships
Experience in driving diversity and inclusion culture and practices
Well versed in regulations and compliance as well as global laws and requirements governing the procurement process
Demonstrable history of effective execution and delivery
Strong technical and financial aptitude
Experience leading a global team #GD17
