Senior Project Manager

What will I be responsible for in this job? (brief summary of the role)

Responsible for all aspects of the development /implementation of projects and programs involving department or cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of a product or program from the design process through a finished state for internal/external customers. Provides a single point of contact for projects. Takes projects from original concept through final implementation. Interfaces with all areas affected by the project which may include customers, client services and various departments. Defines project scope and objectives. Oversees/coordinates all aspects of project and serves as project manager between clients, line management and internal and external resources. Monitors the product/program/project from initiation through delivery, interfacing with customer on all matters. Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals. Develops detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, and status reports. Conducts project meetings and is responsible for project deliverables. Manages the integration of vendor tasks, and tracks and reviews vendor deliverables. May provide project management guidance to project team. Recommends/takes action to direct the analysis of and solution to problems. What are the requirements?

  • Perform project management tasks as needed

  • Provide guidance to project team according to established protocols, policies and / or management guidance

  • Other duties as assigned

  • Lead projects across functional leaders in the Enterprise Customer Care Organization

  • Develop project plans utilizing MS Project

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure objectives are met and work with other operations and IT leaders to ensure project deliver

  • Analyze business unit metrics to identify additional areas for future projects

  • Create executive level presentations; utilizing data and business metrics

    What are the requirements needed for this position?

  • MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project)

  • Experience in building process maps

  • 7+ years in project management or equivalent business experience

  • 4-year degree in related field or equivalent experience

    What other skills/experience would be helpful to have?

  • Six Sigma training preferred but not required.

  • PMP Certification preferred but not required.

  • Experience in healthcare and or customer support preferred but not required

  • Experience working with finance and developing ROI models preferred but not required

  • Knowledge of the project management process and tools

  • Organized

  • Detail Oriented

  • Ability to multi-task

  • Work well with others

  • Computer literate

    What are the working conditions and physical requirements of this job?

  • Office Environment

  • Physical requirements include general office demands

    How much should I expect to travel? 5% travel
