Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Sr. Accountant in the property management industry, located in DES MOINES, Iowa. In this role, you will be responsible for managing various financial records and accounts, and you will play a critical role in maintaining our company's financial stability and growth.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the process of bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

• Manage security accounts, replacement accounts, and other financial instruments.

• Handle balance sheet reconciliations for accurate reporting and ledger maintenance.

• Utilize Microsoft Excel for data analysis and financial reporting.

• Ensure all journal entries are recorded accurately and in a timely manner.

• Utilize Oracle, SAP, and NetSuite for various accounting functions.

• Execute account reconciliation tasks to maintain financial accuracy.

• Conduct month-end close procedures to finalize financial records for the period.

• Ensure General Ledger entries are accurate and reflective of the company's financial transactions. Requirements • Proficiency in account reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation, and bank reconciliations is crucial.

• Expertise in general ledger management and journal entries is required.

• Advanced knowledge and practical experience with Microsoft Excel is necessary.

• Experience in month-end close processes is essential.

• Familiarity with NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP is expected.

• A strong understanding of financial reporting and financial analysis is necessary.

• Excellent communication, organizational and analytical skills are required.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines is crucial.

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field is required.

• CPA or equivalent qualification is preferred.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role is required.

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills are essential.

• Knowledge of federal, state, and local financial legal requirements is preferred.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team is necessary.
