Are you a Sr. Special Investigator with strong technical skills and are looking for a career change?

This is a key position within the Corporate Special Investigations team in our efforts to combat fraud.

This position is responsible for independently leading complex high-level investigations involving fraud, information security, financial crimes and misconduct.

Primary functions of this position include:

  • 60% with fraud and internal investigations.

  • 40% providing technical expertise within IT/ISR arena and anti-fraud technology.


  • Investigate reports of suspected fraudulent activity and effectively manage a case load of investigations.

  • Perform in depth investigations of potentially suspicious activity

  • Utilizing subject matter expertise, analyze facts, data, evidence both internally and externally.

  • Determine the most effective and professional investigative steps needed to mitigate fraudulent or unethical activity.

  • Provide subject matter expertise surrounding cases involving ethics, human resources, financial crimes, ISR, IT and other cyber related crimes.

  • Provide lead investigative analysis on actions needed to facilitate investigations containing use of any electronic means to facilitate the fraud or unethical activity.

  • Act as the CSIU business unit liaison for all enterprise-wide ant-fraud plans and technology tools.

  • Partner with external SIU investigators or law enforcement as needed.

  • Collaborate and partner with key stakeholders to lead complex investigations including: human resources, IT, ISR, global security, legal, compliance, claims and law enforcement .

  • Assist senior leadership with reporting responsibilities to the audit committee, senior management, law enforcement authorities, and others as applicable.


  • Bachelor's degree required with Masters preferred, plus a minimum of 10 years related investigative experience required.

  • CFE or CIFI designation is required, or the ability to obtain within 18 months.

  • Broad knowledge of investigative processes and procedures is required.

  • Prior criminal, financial, IT or employee internal investigative experience preferred.

  • Must have advanced analytical, interpersonal, in-person interview, investigative/research, decision making, and organizational skills.

  • Must have advanced verbal and written communication skills.

  • Must be able to informally lead others, build and maintain relationships, and facilitate collaboration and communication.

  • Must have experience working with IT/ ISR and investigating system breach attempts.

  • Must maintain confidentiality and use good judgment related to sensitive matters.

  • High-level computer skills required including PowerPoint, Excel and Word.

  • Must have proficiency with conducting Internet searches and the ability to utilize databases for conducting investigative research.

  • This position requires domestic field investigative travel.

  • Infrequent international investigative travel may be required.
