Sanofi Group Strategic Accounts Partnership Solutions Lead in Des Moines, Iowa

As the Account Management Partnership Solutions Leader, you are a self-starter who thrives in complexity and ambiguity. You are interested in bringing your experience in building tech-forward partnerships with customers, identifying in-market capabilities to drive population health, and developing saleable solutions in a fast-paced environment. You are a tenured leader with experience mapping capabilities in-market, curating relationships with these partners, and triangulating this to or our largest Organized Customers across all Sanofi Vaccine Channels to enable novel Partnerships. Partnering closely with the Head of Account Management, Health System Solutions, and Account Management Leadership, you will be responsible for delivering on key strategic projects in of executing the US Vaccines Portfolio Sales Roadmap, which is critical to driving business, cultural transformation and change management efforts. In addition, with your strong collaboration, communication, and analytical thinking skills, you will successfully and proactively diagnose risks, needs and opportunities for continuous improvement. You have a track record of being reliable, trustworthy, and have a desire to problem solve. You have a strong execution mindset and can drive impact. You will be a key partner with the US Vaccines Leadership team and instrumental stakeholder to achieving the teams' objectives / targets.

Main responsibilities:

  • Build a capability in Sanofi Account Management team to enable novel partnerships between Sanofi, our largest customers, and existing capabilities in-market to drive increased Vaccine Coverage Rates.

  • Maintain an external focus with a deep connectivity to what is possible and available in market and quickly be able to bring that knowledge to solving customer pain points in a formal partnership capability.

  • Bring a tech-forward lens to identifying key partnership targets which support execution of the Vaccine roadmap across our Portfolio of products and Strategic Account Channels.

  • Create business cases for each investment, measuring and communicating progress, while making course adjustments to drive a strong ROI.

  • Deliver operational and strategic support to ensure seamless execution of partnerships with all Strategic Accounts customers, product and portfolio strategies.

  • Support the Head of Account Management by creating a partnership strategy to enable deeper partnerships with key strategic account customers.

  • Support the decision-making process through developing informed business cases with required stakeholders for resource needs and allocation and complete trade-off analysis

  • Collaborate very closely with Marketing, Market Access, and Sales Leadership to accelerate the evolution of the sales organization through a robust Partnership Capability.

About you

Basic qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required, Advanced Degree Preferred

  • Minimum of 15 + years Commercial experience including leading tech-forward partnerships and collaborations with large customers

  • Minimum of 3 years of sourcing solutions in-market, creating key relationships with partners, and pairing those relationships across all our large customer channels.

  • Experience leading or working on multi – level operations plans or key projects

  • Experience working with large organized customers (health systems, medical groups, IDNs, W/Ds, GPOs, etc.)

  • Exceptional business acumen, strategic agility, strong analytical and conceptual thinking combined with entrepreneurial qualities and abilities

  • Ability to execute quickly

  • Courageous leader with an inspiring change agent mindset who is willing to challenge the status quo and align others to help drive business transformation

  • Executive communication skills, ability to communicate to audiences of varied sizes and levels, both US and global

  • Detail oriented and ability to manage key projects

  • Relationship builder with strong track record of execution working with cross-functional teams comprised of: All customer facing teams, Marketing, Sales, Market Access, Trade, Medical Affairs, Legal, Business Operations, Supply Chain and Customer Support, etc.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in both marketing, sales, and partnership functions across multiple organizations and industries

  • Related experience in commercial and marketing with previous operations experience of sizeable business preferably with Pharma / vaccines /Consumer products and external stakeholder management experience required

  • Solid financial acumen

  • Leader in an ever-evolving environment, with demonstrated use of change management strategies/tactics to influence new ways of thinking and working

  • Manages conflict with composure and demonstrates managerial courage

  • MBA or other relevant advanced degree

  • Embodies Sanofi’s Play to Win behaviors to support a cultural transformation.
