Structured Cable Technician

Des Moines, Iowa

Monday – Friday / 7 am – 5 pm / Saturday OT from 7 am - 3 pm (Weekly Pay)

Overview: Currently seeking Structured Cable Technicians to join a high-profile crew working at one of the top data centers in the country. Will be involved in a variety of tasks as work orders revolve around expanding data center size.

Key Responsibilities: (Full training will be provided)

• Install, terminate, and test structured cabling systems.

• Troubleshoot and repair network cabling infrastructure.

• Follow industry standards and best practices for cable management and labeling.

• Work collaboratively with team members and other contractors to complete projects.

• Document work performed and provide status updates to project management.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Valid Drivers License, Reliable Transportation, and Clean Record.

• Previous experience in structured cabling, construction, or maintenance.

• Proficiency in utilizing hand and power tools.

• Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
