Co-op services Credit Union Training & Development Consultant in Des Moines, Iowa

We are seeking a talented Training & Development Consultant responsible for designing and delivering curriculum according to adult learning principles and training models.

What You Can Look Forward to

  • Analyzes, designs, develops, implements, and evaluates blended learning that is aligned with adult learning principles for new and existing clients (both internal and external).

  • Participates in the implementation of new or changing products and services in the payment and training industry. (Project Score 3, 4, 5 & new business).

  • Manages training relationships while demonstrating CO-OP’s brand and values.

  • Direct contact with clients with up to $1B asset base.

  • for reporting risks that are identified to the appropriate team and/or management. Additionally, responsible for managing, monitoring and reporting risks within the scope of your work area, to include, but not limited to Information Security risks.

  • Creatively deliver training using appropriate adult learning and delivery methods to internal & external audiences, according to project timelines, desired performance outcomes and learner needs.

  • Develops training ideas and concepts using adult learning theory and learning models, and translates into engaging content through user interfaces, graphics, illustrations, animations and/or simulates for e-learning and classroom presentations.

  • Selects and develops appropriate learner interactions and evaluations to measure progress and job competency.

  • Responsible for reporting risks that are identified to the appropriate team and/or management. Additionally, responsible for managing, monitoring and reporting risks within the scope of your work area, to include, but not limited to Information Security risks.

What You’ll Need to Succeed

  • Bachelor’s degree in Adult Learning, Education, or related course-work or equivalent training and/or experience.

  • 1-3 years corporate training experience.

  • Basics of project management.

  • Applied adult learning principles and the ADDIE training model.

  • Time management and organizational skills.

  • Analytical, technical and problem solving skills.

  • Demonstrate Emotional Intelligence to build interpersonal relationships.

  • Excellent, professional written and verbal communication skills.

  • Deep knowledge of adult learning, and training program design and development.

  • Demonstrated presentation and facilitation skills.
