With Cartegraph, users optimize the performance of their assets, drive efficiencies, maximize resources, and reduce costs through smarter, data-driven decisions.YOUR JOB SUMMARYWe're looking for someone who gets excited about prospecting for new and existing clients, expansion opportunities, building positive customer relationships and long-term customer satisfaction, and consistently meeting and exceeding sales targets.As an Account Executive, you will sell software solutions to new accounts in the Higher Education and Federal Facilities markets. And, you will have the unique opportunity to take on a senior sales role where you can demonstrate your higher level of skill and knowledge around sales strategy, account management, segmentation management, and business and financial acumen. In addition to selling new accounts, you will also partner with our existing clients in the growth of Cartegraph's software through continuous selling and expansion into new departments.HERE'S THE WORK YOU WILL DOClose new business deals by coordinating requirements and developing solutions.Develop and implement sales strategies, secure business growth opportunities, and establish a superior solution image.Inspire creative thinking and collaboration resulting in more team wins!Manage the strategic relationship with clients and key partners.Motivate regional sales team to visualize success and work collaboratively as a team toward sales targets.Conduct demos and discovery sessions directly with clients and prospects to gather business and technology requirements.Develop and maintain a consistent and accurate pipeline and complete an analysis of pipeline conversion metrics.Apply solution-oriented selling skills and technical expertise to develop and manage a user base for Cartegraph products and services, to new and existing customers and partners within the assigned territory.Develop and quantify organizational requirements and strategic business needs and objectives, including qualifying decision makers, budget and implementation time frame.Provide technical and solutions support (in collaboration with Technical Team), which includes the full spectrum of the pre-sales function.Conduct ongoing marketing research to identify prospects and target markets; take market research to next level by creating a knowledge database used in sales.Continuously update and maintain CRM database.WHAT YOU BRINGA persuasive communication style and passion for changing the way government and education does business.Three years of experience selling Enterprise-Level software applications to executives and/or leaders in the Higher Education market.Previous experience selling Software as a Service (SaaS).At least 2 years of successful previous experience working remotely from a corporate headquarters if not based at HQ.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Demonstrated proficiency with automated office tools including Salesforce, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel as well as web meeting technology.DESIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's Degree in Marketing, Civil Engineering or Public AdministrationPrevious experience in the technical or higher education/federal facilities marketplacePast experience and understanding of higher
