Clarke University, Department of Nursing and Health is a growing program, dedicated to serving the tristate area community and beyond. We are committed to excellence in education, research and practice. This well-established nursing department offers BSN and DNP programs of study. Our area health care systems such as MercyOne and Unity Point Health Finley Hospital provide opportunities for collaboration, and our DNP students participate in clinical at sites across multiple states.
The university is seeking a full-time Faculty of Nursing whose responsibilities will include half-time teaching and half-time clinical coordination for the DNP program. Rank will be dependent on qualifications. The position will entail working closely with graduate faculty, students, and staff for site clinical coordination. Teaching will be with DNP students, in hybrid courses that require students to be on campus approximately every other week, while utilizing online programming as well. Course delivery modality is also supplemented as needed to accommodate COVID precautions.
The ideal candidate will have licensure, or be eligible for licensure, as ARNP in IOWA, and preferably a certified Family Nurse Practitioner. Candidate must have a doctoral degree in nursing. Teaching experience is preferred, but not necessary.
