[Job description [Forever Cabinets, a division of Kendrick, Inc., is looking for a self-motivated, skilled, hardworking Craftsman / Cabinet Maker to join our custom cabinet manufacturing team in Edgewood, IA. Ideally, we are looking for a woodworker with experience in a production cabinet or furniture shop environment. *[Duties and Responsibilities]{noto="" sans",sans-serif"=""}]{noto="" sans",sans-serif"=""}]{noto="" sans",sans-serif"=""}*
- Build high quality functional cabinets.
- Interpret and read shop drawings and blueprints, to understand requirements.
- Follow work plans.
- Use woodworking machinery and hand tools to cut, shape and assemble cabinets and components.
- Use of various millwork machinery including table saws, bandsaw, sanders, hand tools, wood glue, screws, dowels, and other fasteners to complete the project.
- Repair or refinish wood furniture or cabinets for customers.
- Construct cabinets using various joinery techniques such as dovetail.
- Maintain a safe and clean workspace.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Proven experience as a cabinet maker or carpenter, with a portfolio of completed projects.
Proficient in woodworking techniques, tools, and machinery.
Precision in measurements, cuts, and assembly to ensure high-quality craftmanship.
Ability to troubleshoot issues and find creative solutions.
Experience with power tool operation (chop saw, table saw, sanders, drills etc.)
Willingness to learn and complete tasks correctly.
Ability to listen and take directions to complete tasks in a timely manner.
Excellent math skills.
