Job Summary:

We are currently looking to hire a Quality Technician to work within a precision steel manufacturing setting! As a quality technician, you will engage in collecting data, overseeing inspections, and programming CMM or VMM machines. You will be trained to utilize cutting-edge quality technology, partake in the problem-solving process, and brainstorm as well as implement corrective action solutions under the guidance of the Quality Engineer.

Job Responsibilities:

• This will be less of a hands-on position, and will involve dealing more with correction action, improving processes, and root cause analysis.

• Utilizing knowledge of ISO 9000 and 5s procedures.

• Utilizing precision measuring tools such as micrometer, caliper, height stand, and CMMs.

• Reading in-depth blueprints

Preferred Qualifications:

• Minimum 3-5 years of quality experience and within steel manufacturing.

• Experience with continuous improvement processes such as ISO 9000 and 5s.

• Certifications are a PLUS!

• Strong ability to comprehend blueprints and "GD&T", including its associated symbols.

Additional Information:

• 1st shift hours! 7am - 3:30pm / Monday - Friday.

• Weekly pay + full benefits (medical/dental/vision)
