Avera Holy Family is looking for a Manager – Laboratory to join our Team!

Job Summary

  • The Medical Laboratory Scientist performs a variety of clinical laboratory tests, procedures, and related duties.

  • Utilizes scientific principles as well as technical, procedural, and problem-solving aptitudes for day-to-day laboratory technical operations, quality control, quality assurance, procedure/instrument maintenance and corrective action, test result correlation and clinical laboratory related continuing education.

Education and/or Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science or related field required from an accredited college or university.

  • Completion of the Child Abuse & Dependent Adult Abuse courses for Iowa Mandatory Reporters within 90 days of employment and every three years thereafter.

Work Schedule

  • Monday - Friday; 80 hours 2 weeks

  • Day shifts

  • Occasional weekend

  • Occasional holiday

  • Occasional call time

Pay

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.

  • $33.50 - $50.50 per hour
