Cut Floor Harvest Floor Packaging
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Work safely and comply with company and regulatory safety/environmental policies, practices and procedures
Cut, trim or clean meat
Identify cut or grade of meat
Inspect meat to ensure product meets quality standards
Clean and fold meat product
Operate food processing equipment/machinery
Ensure proper housekeeping throughout the shift and in all department areas
Situations may arise that require employees to temporarily or permanently assume responsibility for tasks not specifically outlined in this job description. Employees may be requested to work additional hours and/or accommodate a heavier than normalworkload.
Qualifications
Previous production and/or livestock experience is preferred
Ability to work with a knife
Ability to perform repetitive tasks
Ability to lift/push/pull up to 50 pounds on a routine basis
Ability to stand/walk/twist/bend/kneel/squat as necessary
Ability to handle hot and cold conditions (must dress according to weather) and be aware of any wet floors or other hazards
