Description

Robert Half, a globally recognized leader in professional staffing and consulting services, is seeking an experienced and dedicated HR Generalist to join our client's team in Fairfield, Iowa. This is an exciting opportunity for a Human Resources professional who is passionate about setting the framework for initial and ongoing employee success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting and implementing human resources strategies by establishing department accountabilities, including talent acquisition, employment processing, compensation, health and welfare benefits, training and development, records management, safety and health, succession planning, and employee relations and retention.

  • Developing human resources operations financial strategies by estimating, forecasting, and anticipating requirements, trends, and variances.

  • Implementing HR staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting and training employees.

  • Supporting management by providing human resources advice, counsel, and decisions, analyzing information and applications.

  • Upholding a positive work environment by adhering to state and federal laws, maintaining peaceful employee relations and promoting high levels of employee satisfaction.

    Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related field or equivalent work experience.

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience as an HR generalist.

  • Knowledge of HR functions and best practices.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.

  • Able to work with minimal supervision and prioritize work effectively.

  • Experience with HRMS and MS Office.
