Cambridge Investment Research, Inc. Marketing Account Executive in Fairfield, Iowa

The Account Executive works under the direction of Business Development leadership and is responsible for creating marketing materials geared toward prospective Cambridge financial professionals.

  • Lead the creative development, presentation, and implementation of the firm’s recruiting initiatives and marketing collateral as identified by the department's leadership team.

  • Serve as knowledge leader to consult with Business Development and provide guidance on marketing initiative and strategic planning.

  • Consult with department leadership regarding the formulation and execution of marketing and communication and initiatives with respect to sponsors, recruits, and current financial professionals.

  • Maintain working knowledge of trends in creative design, processes, products, digital media, websites, and knowledge of the firm's industry and competitive positioning, particularly as it relates specifically to recruiting and relevant areas of the industry.

  • Consult with recruiting team regarding their regional marketing needs, perceptions, and general feedback.

  • Troubleshoot and reconcile issues resulting in a positive experience to foster long-term relationships between Business Development and recruits, financial professionals, and the firm’s Public Relations and Creative Marketing Team.

  • Create marketing campaigns and strategies surrounding recruiting virtual and live events plan, schedule, and execute timely email marketing messages to various audiences.

Four or more years of related experience, education and/or training.

This job requires obtaining a FINRA Series 7 license within the first 9 months in order to complete job responsibilities. Cambridge will provide financial and educational support towards obtaining required license(s) including paid study time, training courses, study materials and online resources.
