Job Description:
Installs, inspects, troubleshoots, repairs, calibrates, performs preventative maintenance, incoming inspections and modifications on patient care equipment and other clinical equipment. This employee is required to install, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, calibrate, perform preventive maintenance, incoming inspections and modifications on patient care equipment and other clinical equipment. Apply knowledge of engineering, biology, and biomechanical principles to the design, development, and evaluation of biological and health systems and products, such as instrumentation, medical information systems, and health management and care delivery systems.
Qualifications:
PREFERRED; but not required
Associates Degree in Biomedical Equipment Technology or Electronics from an accredited college
Two years experience
Experience in a health care facility
Display effective oral, written communication and computer skills
BMET Certification
