Job Description:

Job Title: Retail Central Schedule Coordinator

Department: Human Resources

FLSA: Non-Exempt

General Function:

Responsible for scheduling of several locations using Kronos Workforce Management. The Retail Central Scheduling Coordinator works closely with Store Management to write store schedules using established labor goals.

Reporting Relations:

Accountable and Reports to: HRIS Manager

Positions that Report to you: None

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Works with the Kronos system to write schedules achieving labor and service goals for multiple retail locations.

  • Analyzes weekly schedules and compares labor projections to actual numbers.

  • Communicates frequently with retail locations regarding changes in business needs and employee staffing in order to ensure labor and customer service goals are achieved.

  • Updates and reviews system settings to maintain an efficient schedule for their locations.

  • Makes recommendations to company leadership and to store management to improve scheduling accuracy and reduce labor costs.

  • Reports to work when scheduled and on time.

Secondary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Works as a team member and supports the entire HRIS department.

  • Performs other job-related duties and special projects as required.

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent required; a minimum of 2-3 years retail and schedule writing experience. Prior experience with Kronos Workforce Management preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Visual requirements include: ability to see detail at near and far range with or without correction, normal depth perceptions.

  • Must be physically able to perform sedentary work: occasionally lifting or carrying objects of no more than 10 pounds, and occasionally standing or walking.

  • Must be able to perform the following physical activities: stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, handling, fingering, grasping, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions.

Working Conditions:

The duties of this position are performed in a general office setting. There is constant pressure to meet deadlines and handle multiple projects in a day.

Calculator, telephone, copier, Fax, and PC with Microsoft Office programs.
