GNB Bank Mortgage/Consumer Lending Manger in Grundy Center, Iowa
Provide leadership for a team of mortgage and consumer lenders in developing strong customer relationships, promoting loan products and attaining volume and profitability goals. Conduct team training and provide coaching to improve business development and value driven relationship techniques that will expand our presence in the marketplace, strengthen networks with relators, attorneys, CPA's and other influencers to obtain referrals leading to financial relationships with customers. Oversee the daily operations of the mortgage/consumer lending function to ensure efficient workflow, accuracy, and policies/procedures maintained. Ensure application process and underwriting follow policies and regulations. Research new and upcoming regulations for compliance. Develop in depth working knowledge of mortgage/consumer lending to lead, train, educate and motivate team to meet standards of excellence and achieve desired outcomes. Desired candidates will be familiar with underwriting, closing and servicing requirements for secondary market lending products and processes; 3-5 years experience in banking and/or mortgage lending with 1-3 years of supervisory experience with a proven history of successful business development, recruitment and retention of customer relationships.
