Work in Iowa Jobs

You will oversee the Continuous Improvement work in the Hamburg, Iowa location, reporting directly to the Plant Manager.

You Will:

• Use resources to assist the plants in achieving uptime, OEE and plant metric goals and objectives. Work with the production team lead and plant manager to drive OEE, eliminate of minor stops, break-down reduction and increase mean time between failure.

• Guide pillar teams to ensure standard practices, reapplication of improvements, and calibration of approach and effectiveness of processes.

• Follow and enforce standards for food safety and food quality production reflected in SQF as well as the regulations of major vendors and governmental agencies such as OSHA, FDA and EPA and assures associates are trained in these standards and comply with all requirements

• With coaching or assistance, implements focused continuous improvement processes and metrics to identify, understand, & eliminate losses, reduce working capital, reduce lead times, and increase throughput.

You Have:

• BS degree or Equivalent Experience

• 1 - 3 years manufacturing experience required.

• Proven record of driving improvement & solving problems without sacrifice to safety and quality

• Includes MS office programs and sharepoint

• Clear ability to relate to and motivate people and drive accountability

• Excellent presentation, coaching & communication skills
