Job Summary:
- The Sales Engineer serves as a liaison during the sales process when complex manufacturing and troubleshooting issues occur.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- None.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Consults with existing and potential clients to assess and understand equipment needs and system requirements during new product installations and facility visits.
- Analyses failed, worn or new parts to help customers avoid system failures.
- Works with international and domestic teams by drafting documentation and materials that explain products and services to customers.
- Provides expertise and support to sales teams to communicate products and services.

- Provides support to customers and resolves problems with installed equipment.
- Troubleshoots products and services.
- Provides knowledge of mechanical equipment and inspection hand tools.
- Assists with research and development of new products.

- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software, Minitab, SolidWorks.
- 60 percent travel required. Passport and valid drivers licensed will be required.
- Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering or field related to products and services being sold preferred.
- Two to four years of related product or sales experience required.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at a time.
- Must be able to stand for prolonged periods.
