We are seeking a Legal Secretary to join our team in Hiawatha, Iowa. As a Legal Secretary, you will play a critical role in ensuring smooth operations and effective communication within the team and with clients. Responsibilities as the Legal Secretary:

• Communicate effectively with staff and clients through various channels such as email, voice, and text

• Follow up with clients and staff to ensure cases/files are progressing as planned

• Keep track of staff and client accountability, ensuring necessary documents are provided by the due date

• Find solutions to obtain the documents requested/needed

• Maintain and organize files to ensure smooth and efficient operations

• Produce necessary documents as needed

• Maintain a proactive approach to client and staff engagement, ensuring all tasks and operations stay on track

• Utilize various software tools such as MS products, Adobe, Cleo, and Net Docs for efficient task management and organization

• Provide excellent customer service, addressing and resolving customer inquiries related to their credit accounts

Requirements

• Prior legal experience is a bonus

• 5+ years in an administrative capacity or relevant degree

• Proficiency navigating within Microsoft Office Suite

• Understanding and experience in Compliance procedures

• Excellent Customer Service skills

• Effective Communication skills, both verbal and written

• Attention to detail
