Persons appointed to this position will receive the privileges and benefits associated with regular employment status.Duties:Position Summary: Coordinates administrative processes to support the Operations and Communications and Graphic Design department. Position also supports information technology functions and specialized events, meetings and conferences.Provides administrative support for the Operations and Communications and Graphic Design departments, including managing schedules, purchasing materials, providing support for meetings and service and serving as department liaison.Coordinates specialized events, activities, meetings and conferences, including support for internal and external conference preparation and registration.Provides general support and manages business functions for the Disability Resource Library (DRL.)Collects and manages data for specialized reports.Initiates workflow transactions, including purchasing, payment and travel transactions.Monitors budgets, accounts/expenditures and reconciles statements.Reconciles department procurement card.Manages IT equipment, marketing materials and DRL inventories. Maintains spreadsheets for inventories.Provides technology support for special events, activities, meetings, conferences and webinars.Submits and monitors technology requests (telephone, Ethernet, computers, etc).Contributes to and coordinates the development of educational, marketing, and public relations materials.Prepares and distributes correspondence and disseminates information to internal and external audiences.Facilitates all aspects of In-service/Continuing Education Training for CDD and manages processes for CME and CEU applications and distribution.Please note in regard to references: Five (5) professional references may be required at a later step in the recruitment process.Education Required:Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Experience Required:6 months experience in an administrative support role.Experience with data collection and data management processes.Excellent written and verbal communication skills including capacity to demonstrate positive interpersonal skills and participate as a member of a team and work groups.Demonstrated competency using Microsoft Office Programs, including Outlook, Word, Excel and Power Point.Strong organizational skills including the ability to manage multiple projects and adhere to deadlines.Desirable Qualifications:Highly Desirable: Experience using UI workflow processes for travel, purchasing and payment workflow processes.Highly Desirable: 1 or more years of experience in an administrative support role.Experience organizing and facilitating meetings and group events, including experience workingExperience working with electronic meeting technologies.Previous experience working with UI policies and proceduresOnline Application OptionsApplication Type:This job requires basic applicant information, plus a resume.
