Job Description

Aramark is currently seeking a Food Service Manager to support the Xtream Arena in Coralville, IA! The Food Service Manager is responsible for developing and implementing dining solutions to meet customer needs and tastes.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategies for maximizing revenue and profitability of the concession?s operation

• Manage and maintain inventory levels, including ordering, receiving, and storage of all products

• Assist with hiring, training, and managing staff to ensure that the concessions operation is fully staffed and that employees are trained in all aspects of the operation

• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and policies, including those related to food service and alcohol service

• Work closely with other departments to coordinate operations, such as event planning, marketing, and facilities management

• Maintain positive relationships with vendors, suppliers, and other external partners

• Assist the catering team, oversee premium catering events

• Develop and maintain effective client and customer rapport

• Deliver consistent quality in planning and carrying out events

• Facilitate the delivery of prepared food and set up of events crafted from banquet event orders

• Assist in executing catering events on non-game days, as assigned by Director of Operation

Qualifications

• Requires at least 1 year of related experience in a management role

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required

• Ability to maintain effective client and customer rapport for mutually beneficial business relationships

• Ability to demonstrate excellent customer service using Aramark's standard service model

• Ability to maintain an effective working relationship with other departments to a unified food service experience for all customers

• Requires strong interpersonal communication skills

• Requires occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 50 lbs and ability to stand for extended periods of time

• Must have availability to work a flexible event-based schedule including evening, weekend, and potentially holiday hours
