Industrial Maintenance Technician

Job Description

As a Maintenance Technician, your main responsibility will be to maintain machines, which includes preventative maintenance and troubleshooting components such as electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. You may also be asked to install machines and perform mechanical and electrical layout modifications. This role requires a flexible attitude and a willingness to help wherever needed to get the job done.

This is a fully on-site position in Iowa City, Iowa.

Work Environment

Our company is a plastics bottling company that utilizes stretch/blow mold techniques to manufacture bottles for a variety of clients. We operate in a highly regulated, temperature-controlled, and clean environment. Personal protective equipment, such as hair nets, steel-toed boots, and ear plugs, are required at all times. This is a third shift, rotating position with 12-hour shifts from 6:00pm-6:00am. Your training schedule will occur during the day (Monday-Friday) for up to 6 months before transitioning to the night shift.
