The laboratory includes two faculty (Dr. Chipara and Dr. Wu), one postdoctoral fellow, and four Ph.D. students. Applications are invited for a postdoctoral position to work on the new project. The project will broadly focus on:

  • The development of machine learning algorithms that take advantage of cloud and edge capabilities to improve the signal process capabilities of hearing aids.
  • Novel approaches to integrate data from heterogeneous sensors (e.g., accelerometers, smart glasses) to improve the capabilities of hearing aids
  • Programming abstractions that reduce the burden of writing time-sensitive edge-enable applications for hearing aids

Responsibilities will include developing original research, supervising system deployments, and coordinating the activities of the Ph.D. students involved in the project. We are looking for a recent Ph.D. graduate to join our group immediately for one to two years.
