The successful candidate will be responsible for the oversight of all clinical, basic and translational research faculty within the department. This person will also serve on the Department's Executive Committee. The successful candidate will be asked to increase the relevance of the department's research by increasing the involvement of the faculty in the department's clinical, basic and translational research program. He or she will develop and implement a plan to increase the department's NIH funding base to a level that places it within the top tier of OB/GYN department's nationally.
