The Role

As a Lumen Lead NBA Campaign Analyst, you will work closely with various internal Lumen organizations as a consulting level professional with a full understandibg of area of specializtion.

The Main Responsibilities

Analyzes and optimizes offers in Next Best Action Program -

  • Collect existing offer performance and other key customer data.

  • Perform analytics, as required, to support new offer definition, capture new offer performance, etc. Provide guidance on prioritization of offers using models

  • Guide the development of adaptive models, and shepherd the modification or creation of offline models

  • Oversee the creation of executive reporting

  • Root-cause analytics on offers

  • Advanced analytic approaches to validate performance and support critical NBA decisions

What We Look For in a Candidate


  • 6+ years related experience with a bachelor’s degree or 4+ years related experience with a Master's

  • Degree(s) in Math, Economics, Operations Research, Statistics or related discipline.

  • Ability to solve complex analytical challenges, independently analyze information and make recommendations based on analysis

  • Strong verbal, written and visualization communication skills demonstrated by an ability to translate complex findings into practical business implications.

  • Ability to create reporting mechanisms and processes that help leaders quickly identify and address business challenges

  • Experience working directly with Relational databases, pulling and organizing data.

  • Proficiency SQL or similar analytic language

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple analytic projects concurrently.

  • Demonstrated proactive problem identification and resolution.


  • Strong experience with tools for managing, analyzing, and visualizing large datasets.

  • Problem solving versatility: making the best decisions possible given the data quality and time available.

  • Strong analytical thinking and ability to quickly pick up new methods, tools and programming languages.

  • Experience with statistical programming environments like Python, R, SPSS

  • Expertise with econometric and machine learning methods for predictive analytics.

  • Culture of curiosity and perseverance in the face of messy data and complex business, information systems landscape.

  • Past success in extracurricular math/science activities or competitions is highly regarded.

  • Creativity and persistence in locating, extracting and analyzing all relevant data.

  • Experience managing Pega system or similar Next Best Action tool.
