Kelly Services Customer Service Representative in Johnston, Iowa

WORK FROM HOME in this great REMOTE job opportunity as a Customer Service Representative within a Human Resources Center for a client who is based in Johnston, Iowa. In this role you will be responsible for providing employee assistance with inquiries related to Human Resources. This position has an hourly pay rate of $25/hr. This is a fully remote opportunity with occasional travel to support business activities.

What Will You Do Each Day?

  • Use procedures, policy manuals, knowledge management, and other reference materials to assist in answering and resolving employee/manager inquiries

  • Communicate Human Resources and other related, policies, procedures, and government regulations, including proper utilization of the HRSC

  • Forward employee inquiries to functional specialists or to third party vendors

  • Document all employee inquiries and issues and maintain thorough case notes

  • Conduct frequent review of Frequently Asked Questions, Policies, Procedures to identify steps needed to answer customer inquiries

  • Communicate with employees verbally and through chat

Job Qualification

Requirements – Who You Are:

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent

  • Ability to consistently deliver high quality customer service in a professional manner

  • Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to develop and deliver verbal and written communications which convey complex information in a simple, easily understandable manner

  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail

  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities

  • Ability to navigate computerized data entry system or other relevant applications

  • Acts honestly and professionally; ability to handle confidential and sensitive information

  • Ability to maintain effectiveness amid distractions and general noise

This job may be a fit if you have the following:

  • One to two (1-2) years of experience as a customer service representative in a call center environment

  • Knowledge and understanding of Human Resources and other related areas

  • Customer service experience

  • Experience working with shared services technology (e.g., case management) or HR systems is desirable, but not required

  • Bilingual in Spanish and English
