Dow Chemical Global Transport and Security Risk Manager in Johnston, Iowa
Corteva Agriscience™,Agriculture Division ofDowDuPont™has an exciting opportunity forGlobal Transport and Security Risk Manager. This position will lead the implementation and maintenance of Transportation Risk Management and Security Governance for the AgDiv Crop Protection global supply chain organization.
Work with a cross-functional team to develop the new Ag Division CP Transportation risk management and Security governance model in collaboration with EH&S
Leverage the new risk management governance model across the global organization
Develop sustainable control plans
Contribute to standardizing risk management and security work processes and systems, tools and metrics for the Ag Division
Lead and contribute to associated global initiatives within the Supply Chain organization
Create the transportation security culture for the organization (through efforts such as training, drills, risk management initiatives, monitoring, metrics, incident investigations, and auditing transportation service providers)
Participate in audits, assessments and reviews of our contract Carrier Providers according to our internal standards
Identify improvement opportunities and ensure follow-up and completion of risk management and security improvement plans
Monitor performance, record all Unplanned Events, and contribute to the Root Cause Investigations of the transport incidents and follow-up the corrective actions
Support other supply chain roles and procurement in assessing new Carrier Providers
Provide guidance to CP sites to ensure annual evaluation of changes in local distribution patterns are conducted that may impact transport security risk
Represent Transport risk management and security governance and compliance to all levels of the organization.
Lead effort and provide guidance to site Distribution Safety Leaders to support 1 stparty security and risk management compliance audits
Required Qualifications: *
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or in Business Management.
Expertise in Logistics and EH&S
10 years of experience, including 5 years in Transportation EH&S
Very good knowledge of information systems supporting logistics activities
Project Management experience
A minimum requirement for this U.S. based position is the ability to work legally in the United States. No visa sponsorship/support is available for this position, including for any type of U.S. permanent residency (green card) process.
Preferred Qualifications: *
Transportation regulatory knowledge, security knowledge, interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills, cross-functional teamwork, analytical skills, change management skills.
Successful completion of Hazardous Materials training as provided in Subpart H, Part 172, Title 49 of Code of Federal Regulations. Basic Hazardous Materials training course.
