Job Title: Greenhouse Technician

Bachelor's degree in Horticulture, Plant Genetics, Agronomy, Biology or related field.

Job Description

As a Greenhouse Technician, your daily tasks will involve caring for greenhouse plants, including seeding, pollinating, transplanting, watering, harvesting, and handling seeds for crops like corn, soybean, wheat, among others. You will punch or cut and store small samples of plant tissue, delivering them for laboratory analysis, while carefully maintaining sample identity and proper storage conditions. You will also assist with experiments, data collection, and record maintenance. Routine greenhouse sanitation tasks, including discarding regulated material, destroying waste, cleaning pots/containers, and sanitizing rooms.
