Job Description

Insight Global is currently hiring a Tier 2 Helpdesk Technician for one of our top Agricultural companies in the Des Moines, IA area. In this role, the candidate will be expected to analyze, design, and implement new desktop infrastructure. Responsibilities include overseeing network management, performing hardware upgrades, and system reimaging. The candidate must be available to work onsite Monday through Friday. We are targeting a pay rate of $25-28/hr.

Skills and Requirements

Network Management: Oversee and maintain two distinct networks: an employee network requiring certificate-based authentication and a guest network. Ensure policy updates and perform Group Policy (GP) updates using PowerShell.

 Workload Management: Independently manage workload, utilizing Jira and ServiceNow ticketing systems for task organization and prioritization.

 Hardware Upgrades: Execute RAM upgrades and hard drive expansions to meet organizational needs.

 System Reimaging: Reimage leased machines, understanding the limitations of not being able to replace motherboards. Experience with network management and authentication systems.

 Proficient in PowerShell and policy management.

 Familiarity with Jira and ServiceNow platforms.

 Knowledge of hardware components and limitations of leased equipment.

 Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with various teams. null
