ChildServe has an opportunity for a Learning & Development Intern to join our team this summer. Successful candidates will be comfortable learning and using new technology. Creativity is a plus! What You'll Do
Translate instructional design documents into engaging learning materials.
Use software such as Captivate or PowerPoint to deliver effective training content.
Assist in other Learning & Development projects, as needed.
Schedule and Location
This intern will join our team for up to 20 hours per week, Monday – Friday during typical business hours at our Johnston, IA location. Once trained, there may be opportunity for hybrid work. Hours may be used to meet a student’s course credit requirement.
Compensation This is a paid opportunity.
What You'll Need
Current enrollment in a higher education institution, pursuing a degree in Secondary Education, Communication, Graphic Design (Arts), or other related degrees.
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, specifically PowerPoint.
Ability to quickly learn and use software programs as needed.
Comfort with brainstorming and formulating creative ideas.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
Strong work ethic and a “can do” attitude.
Ability to understand and communicate effectively and professionally in reading, writing, and speaking the English language.
