We are looking to hire 3 maintenance workers to provide technical support to restaurant in different locations. Primary job duties for maintenance workers include installing, repairing, and maintaining restaurant grounds and equipment. Specific examples of responsibilities may include fixing drive-thru intercoms, installing new equipment, etc.
The Maintenance Person assists management in achieving and maintaining outstanding interior and exterior restaurant cleanliness and maintaining restaurant equipment. As a member of the Maintenance Team, your restaurant will support you with the tools and training needed to succeed. This position requires continuous work neat heat, noise, gas, and chemical. The position also requires frequent lifting, climbing, standing, walking, crouching, squatting, bending and kneeling. This position will required weekend and/ or holiday work.
The Maintenance Person’s responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
Training and follow- up of units primary and secondary janitor staff
Perform preventative maintenance on kitchen equipment
Repair kitchen equipment as needed
Perform breakdown analysis
Perform general housekeeping
Work with outside contractors
Work independently under limited supervision (Self-management)
Documentation of work schedule and work tasks complete
Experience in cleaning, janitorial work and planned maintenance, ability to communicate in English is required, a friendly attitude, a high level of comfort working in busy environment and among people during the business day. Be able to manage task at several locations and oversee others. Be a fast learner of task and responsibilities, and the ability to be flexible in communicating with and taking directions from supervisors and managers. This is a hourly position that pays $14-$21 per hour depending on experience.
18 years or older
Pass the background check
Experience with cleaning and janitor work
Experience with product manuals (e.g., regarding and applying knowledge to make repairs).
Experience with troubleshooting mechanical breakdowns (pinpointing, and fixing breakdown).
