What is the Role?

As the Marketing and Communications Coordinator, you are an integral part of our Health Services Team and your passion for design, brand management, social media and public relations are all core components of our organizational success and significantly contribute to our important mission.

Your role will vary from the strategic - such as planning and management of IHC's brand design, social media presence, and promotional strategies - to the tactical - such as supporting and assisting with the implementation of marketing, public relations, and design and development of program materials.

In conjunction with other members of the Health Services team, you will be responsible for:

  • Coordinating, executing and managing all marketing materials and digital and print media strategies and content
  • Designing, strategizing, and managing IHC's social media presence and campaigns, creating engaging content to increase brand awareness
  • Designing and maintaining the IHC website, including content and information updates
  • Creating and designing a variety of print and digital materials, such as agendas, brochures, flyers, toolkits, logos and promotional materials
  • Guiding and coordinating the creative direction and brand guidelines for IHC materials and communications, including presentations, newsletters, program materials, email campaigns, annual reports, and promotional announcements to ensure consistent messaging and branding across all platforms
  • Working directly with the IHC Education Team to develop, coordinate, design and deliver promotional and program materials for use in educational and outreach events in virtual, onsite, and offsite settings

This position is 100% remote

Who Are You?

  • You are a committed, skilled professional with a strong passion for graphic design, digital and print marketing and social media
  • Y ou have a Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, or a relevant field
  • You have a minimum of 2 years of experience in marketing, graphic design, website management, or social media content creation - if you have at least 5 or more years of experience even better!
  • You have a strong knowledge of layouts, graphics fundamentals, typography, print and web design and proven work experience in digital marketing, social media content creation, and website management and demonstrated experience leading and managing email, social media, website and marketing campaigns
  • You possess strong interpersonal skills and excellent presentation, editing and communication skills and have experience with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and other graphic design software
  • You are a positive, friendly and authentic contributor with a strong ability to build relationships with colleagues and key stakeholders, and you work effectively both independently and in a team environment
