Description
Applications due January 20th, 2025. ChildServe will be hosting a Master of Healthcare Administration Intern to collaborate with leadership at our Johnston location. This intern will work on a variety of special projects, providing strategic guidance and insights. They will also have exposure to our leadership team and board of directors through mentorship, project work, and occasional meetings. Schedule and Compensation
Summer 2025
Monday – Friday, typical business hours with infrequent evenings/weekends for special projects as needed
Internship is paid
What You'll Do
Process Improvement – Lead and support process improvement initiatives. Collaborate with management to identify opportunities for improvement.
Project Support – Work on special projects as assigned, providing strategic guidance based on analysis of relevant data.
Leadership – Collaborate with ChildServe leadership through project work, administrative tasks and occasional meetings. Attend board meetings, provide support to other members of the leadership team as assigned, and complete other duties as assigned.
What You'll Need
Current enrollment in Master of Health Administration program required
An ability to maintain positive working relationships and demonstrate sensitivity to, and respect for, a diverse population
Demonstration of proficient organizational and time management skills with developed problem solving skills and decision-making, and ability to prioritize multiple demands
Computer skills including Microsoft Office, and ability to proficiently learn new software programs
Ability to interpret and follow applicable policies, procedures, and regulations
Ability to communicate in English effectively for understanding, in writing and verbally
