ChildServe is recruiting for a full-time Operations Coordinator to provide administrative and operations support for the Des Moines Woodland Center, as well as direct care back-up for Day Health services. Schedule:Monday-Friday: 9am-5:30pmPosition Expectations:1. Maintains children's records to include enrollments, discharges, filing and maintaining back files.2. Verification of benefits3. Ensure all classrooms have current and accurate child and emergency information, daily documentation forms and care plans.4. Collects, organizes and verifies daily attendance documentation and meal participation records.5. Enters child specific training into the system and provide updates to supervisor.6. Participates in development of child and staff schedules.7. Provide support for facility needs including supplies and work order requests8. Maintain records of organizational drills9. Responsible for greeting parents, visitors and answering phone10. Provide direct care as needed11. Other duties as assignedQualifications:1. Education: Must have a high school diploma, with additional training/experience working with computers2. Experience: One year of clerical/administrative work experience in the healthcare delivery or service business required.3. Specific skills and knowledge: Effective written and oral communication skills; must be able to interact as a part of an interdisciplinary team; must have excellent computer skills and knowledge; thorough in all work with emphasis on accuracy and attention to detail.About Day Health:ChildServe's Day Health program offers specialized weekday care for children and young adults with significant medical needs and developmental delays. The program includes on-site therapy services like physical, occupational, and speech therapy. Our Day Health program focuses on each child's overall health. For this reason, we provide therapeutic activities to develop coordination, self-confidence, social competencies, and more.
