Description

Corteva Agriscience is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Program and Event Coordination Intern to join our team. This role offers a unique opportunity to work alongside R&D Academic Engagement to ensure the success of our programs and initiatives. You will gain hands-on experience in planning, organizing, and executing various programs and events.

What You'll Gain:

  • Post-Event Evaluation: You'll learn how to conduct evaluations and gather feedback, which will help you improve future events and develop analytical skills.

  • Team Collaboration: You'll strengthen your teamwork and collaboration skills by brainstorming and proposing new event ideas and improvements with your team members.

Qualifications

Qualifications - What You'll Bring:

  • Minimum GPA of 3.0.

  • Undergraduate student pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Event Management, Hospitality Management, Project Management, or a related field. Candidates must be enrolled in classes the semester following their internship with Corteva.

  • Must be able to relocate to Johnston, IA or Indianapolis, IN for the duration of the internship.

  • Must be able to work full-time (40 hours per week) for 10-12 weeks during the timeframe of internship (typically May to August).

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Previous experience in event planning or coordination is a plus but not required.

  • Limited potential for domestic travel, varying with assignments.
