Join our team at Delta Dental of Iowa as aSystem Configuration Implementation Specialist.In this role, you will work independently to assist large and small group set up, renewals and product questions. You will support our Sales team by reviewing all new group applications and renewal contracts as well as communicating with the client contact any missing information in order for the group to be implemented or renewed accurately into core systems. Use your strong organization skills to facilitate communication between team and client groups regarding issues, document requests, and follow-ups if necessary. You will be responsible for maintaining the group structural pieces in CRM and Group Files and will triage escalated items timely and appropriately.

Essential Functions and Principal Accountabilities:

  • Ensures all necessary documentation has been provided for new large and small groups to process the group setup and enrollment in the Delta Dental core systems. Must be proficient and meet efficiency standards when processing and enrolling new groups.

  • Assists with processing renewals that require no changes. Processes basic updates in CRM and the core system.

  • Ensures that service requests received by written or telephonic communications or in person are resolved and responded to in an energized, positive, and professional manner. This includes, but is not limited to: Assists others with general processes and benefit questions related to group coverage, processes coverage changes, etc.

  • Works respectfully and collaboratively with others throughout the company. Coordinates and communicates service-related issues and resolutions to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction related to stakeholder interactions with Delta Dental.

  • Represents the team using benefit and system expertise by leading or participating in group meetings. Assists Sales Account Manager with Webinars or Group meetings for training on the website and web portals and other functions based on job knowledge.

  • Possesses a strong working knowledge of administrative systems, CRM and electronic tools to support team processes, lead meetings and accurately represent the requirements for enhancement requests.

  • Actively participates/leads daily huddles and management of team’s workload to ensure timely and accurate completion of responsibilities.

  • Adheres to processing standards related to quality, documentation, and turnaround time.

  • Complies with the policies and procedures of Delta Dental at all times, including DDPA standards as applicable.

  • Serves as backup for QA.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or two to three years of successful experience in servicing group customers, enrollment and/or business operations, preferably benefits of dental insurance or financial services environment.

  • Knowledge and understanding of product and benefits.

  • Competency in basic math skills.

  • Strong attention to detail.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to interact with stakeholders and respond to their questions and concerns in a professional manner.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to complete assigned tasks and achieve goals.

  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize, use good judgment, organize and function effectively with multiple tasks/assignments.

  • Demonstrated competency in computer skills, including, Microsoft Excel and Word, as well as other software as required.
