VAN BUREN COUNTY COMMUNITY SCHOOL DIST Cook in Keosauqua, Iowa
Van Buren County CSD is accepting applications for a Cook in our Middle School/High School center.
QUALIFICATIONS - GENERAL
- Must have knowledge of quantity food production, storage, and handling techniques.
- Must be able to operate large volume productionequipment safely and properly.
- Must understand and practice good sanitation inthe preparation and serving of food.
- Must be able to understand written and oral instructions.
- Must be able to interact well with school personnel, other food service personnel, students, and the general public.
QUALIFICATIONS - PHYSICAL
- Must be physically able to work in a standing orwalking position all day.
- Must be able to work in warm surroundings.
- Must have a manual dexterity to handle knives andother kitchen equipment such as slicers, mixers, choppers, grinders, and scales.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
