VAN BUREN COUNTY COMMUNITY SCHOOL DIST Elementary Teacher in Keosauqua, Iowa
Van Buren County CSD is seeking qualified candidates for Elementary Teachers for the 2024-2025 school year. Multiple positions available.
Candidates are expected to:
- Create a positive and engaging classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and school goals.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom culture that values diversity and respects individual differences.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely feedback to students and parents/guardians.
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan interdisciplinary projects and activities.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay updated on best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education
- Valid teaching certification in the state of Iowa.
- Strong knowledge of elementary education principles and curriculum standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Dedication to the academic and social-emotional growth of every student.
