Aventure Staffing Utility Operator in Lakeside, Iowa
Utility Operator | $21.00/hour
Monday – Saturday or Sunday, 6:50am – 7:00pm (rotating schedule)
Schedule will change to 4 days on, 4 days off down the road including rotating monthly between day and night shifts

Responsibilities:
Maintain safety as a top priority in accordance with company safety rules and regulations
Utilize computer systems to input and record data as required regarding safety, sanitation, maintenance, and processing equipment operation
Fill in for other operators as needed
Weighing in/out of all trucks and directing them to the proper location for loading/unloading
Clean equipment, tanks and outside work areas
Maintain, monitor, and adjust equipment
Performs a variety of general labor tasks including janitorial cleaning and vehicle washing
Complete all grounds work, including mowing, shoveling, trash pick-up, etc.
Checks boiler, cooling tower chemicals
Gather samples throughout the plant to be stored
Assist in product inventory and documentation
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED required
Communicate/read effectively in English
Basic math skills
Strong safety knowledge and value for safety practices
Ability to work 12 hour and rotating shifts
Ability to work from elevated work areas
