Aventure Staffing Fabricator in Laurens, Iowa
$16.00/hr Starting Pay DOE, Monday-Friday, Attendance/Safety Bonuses!
An established tool manufacturing company located in Laurens, IA is looking for reliable, organized and self-motivated individuals with mechanical aptitude to fill their Fabricator position! The Fabricator position is a long-term temporary opportunity working on first shift, 5AM - 3:30PM and pay $16+/hr, depending on experience. Attendance and safety bonuses are paid out monthly for qualifying employees! Individuals with prior fabrication and/or burn table operator experience are encouraged to apply!
Fabricator Responsibilities:
Operate a burn table efficiently, properly and safely
Operate overhead crane safely and properly load/unload burn table
Perform grinding and slag removal
Unload steel plate and material into proper storage area or bin
Conduct light maintenance in assigned area
Keep work area safe, organized and clean at all times
Read and follow production routes
Unload and store plate from delivery trucks
Communicate fully with supervisors and coworkers
Safe and proper use of preheating devices and manual torches
What you'll get as a Fabricator:
Starting Pay: $16/hr ($640 each week!*)
Paid Every Friday!

To become a Fabricator, you'll need:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Must be able to read and interpret blueprints
Ability to operate plasma burn table
Experience using hand/power tools
Mechanical aptitude
Basic understanding of products and parts
Ability to handle all materials safely using aa hoist, overhead crane, electromagnets and forklift
Compensation for the Fabricator:
Sing on Bonus: $550 bonus for all Temps who stay with LAURENS, IA facility for 90 days and maintain a 95% attendance and 100% Safety
The sign on bonus will be paid after the 90 th day worked
$100 bonus to all new hires and maintain a 100% Attendance record for the first 3 weeks of their assignment
