Wells Enterprises Artificial Intelligence Software Engineer III in Le Mars, Iowa
Design and implement cutting-edge AI solutions that drive innovation and enhance business processes. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, software engineers, and business stakeholders, to develop robust and scalable AI solutions. This is accomplished according to the priorities and direction established by management.
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Research: Engage in industry research and learning to evaluate all forms of AI and machine learning, including Generative AI, and provide recommendations to IT and business leadership on areas of opportunity. Identify proof-of-concept project areas.
Architecture: Design and develop scalable and efficient AI architectures that leverage state-of-the-art machine learning algorithms, deep learning models, and data processing techniques to solve complex business problems.
Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and guidance to the IT software development teams. Drive the adoption of best practices, coding standards, and design principles to ensure high-quality and maintainable AI solutions.
Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with business stakeholders and subject matter experts to understand the requirements, define the scope of AI projects, and identify opportunities for leveraging AI technologies to achieve business goals.
Solution Design: Translate business requirements into technical specifications and design AI solutions that align with the organization's overall technical vision and strategic objectives.
Model Selection: Evaluate and select appropriate machine learning algorithms and deep learning models based on the problem domain, data characteristics, and performance requirements.
Data Integration: Work closely with other IT software engineers to define data requirements, design data pipelines, and ensure the availability of high-quality data for training and evaluation of AI models.
Privacy/Security: Work with cybersecurity teams to ensure AI solutions are effectively risk balanced and develop policies to ensure AI utilization is aligned with company strategy.
