IOWA VALLEY COMMUNITY SCHOOL DIST Potential Daycare Director - Fall 2025 in Marengo, Iowa
The Daycare Director is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the daycare facility, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and educational environment for children. The director will manage staff, coordinate programs, handle administrative duties, and maintain compliance with state and local regulations. The role requires strong leadership skills, effective communication, and a passion for child development.
This is a Full-time position with occasional evening and weekend hours for meetings and special events. You must be able to work in a physically demanding environment, including bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
This would be a brand new position in a brand new program! Iowa Valley is located in Marengo, IA, approx. 10 miles North of I-80 and 25 minutes West of the Cedar Rapids/Iowa City Corridor. Many upgrades have been made to our district in the last few years and we are excited as the prospect of adding a daycare center!
