Trinity Health Delivery Driver - Textile - Full Time in Mason City, Iowa

Description:

Position Purpose:

The Textile Delivery Driver is responsible for transporting linen/supply orders to all customer sites, while maintaining the highest possible quality, sanitation, and safety standards utilizing various delivery vehicles.

What you will Do:

--Demonstrates commitment and an ability to provide a quality Textile Service to all customers.

--Delivers clean linen/supplies and picks up soiled linen utilizing the laundry truck at assigned customer locations.

--Loads and unloads laundry carts containing clean/soiled linen safely onto the laundry truck/dock, while ensuring cargo is securely/appropriately positioned for travel.

--Exchanges step-off mats at assigned customer locations and contract accounts.

--Supports staffing decisions and is dependable, efficient, and able to prioritize work.

--Responds to customer requests in a timely and effective manner.

Hours/Schedule:

Minimum Qualifications:

Education:

  1. High school diploma or certificate required.

Experience:

  1. One year of delivery driving experience required.

  2. Some driving experience with a GRVW of at least 16,000 pounds strongly preferred.

  1. Ability to effectively communicate.

  2. Must be dependable, reliable, and be able to work flexible hours.

  3. Must be able to plan and organize work duties and be alert to safety hazards.

  4. Must be able to work with a team to accomplish goals.

  5. Must possess a good driving record.

  6. Must have a mechanical aptitude for recognizing equipment problems.

  7. Must be able to effectively work independently for most of the work shift.

  8. Must possess a valid Iowa Driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
